Hello! DSEC welcomes you to Monria. Your arrival comes at a most fortunate time for us. We've unearthed mysterious new elements yet also equally confounding inhabitants.

Without reinforcements, colonist support is the only hope for DSEC to exact it's claim from this isolated rock.

Our operations have gone much smoother since Trip Kaminsky perfected the technology for our barriers. I still don't understand how he can think of such things.

They say those canopies actually produce five hundred times more energy than is currently consumed on Monria.

Though if our reinforcements don't show up soon I don't think it's gonna matter how much energy we're producing.

Carl Beckman can fill you in on more of what's going on here, though don't mind if he's a little off. He's been staring out at the crater for days, muttering something incoherent under his breath.

Somehow he's still been pulling it together to get people allocated where they're needed most. I don't want to know what could drive a mind like his so far off the rails.
