Hi Default_Name, I'm colonist liaison Hank Powers.
Dennis has informed me to anticipate your arrival.
We're anxiously awaiting each and every able
body that can assist.
We've been informed that reinforcements were
requested by DSEC CEO Gabriel Donovan,
however when they may get here is uncertain.
- Ok
- I don't want to talk right now
Right Now we need someone to meet with Trip out
in the field. We've got some information we're not
comfortable transmitting and need a message
relayed to him. We've contacted the Logistics
Division and they confirmed that no
reinforcements were in transit to Monria as of yet.
- Why would you hesitate to transmit that?
- I don't have time for this
Well here's the thing... When I attempted to
question Logistics on this they said that they had
no further information and that we'd need to
contact the Resource Allocation Division.
I followed up with them for more details regarding
the reinforcements commissioned for Monria, and
they've promptly directed me onto Marketing.
They said it was a mistake which came down to
them from up the ladder. I know better than to
question Marketing on anything they do but I have
my suspicions something more is going on here.
- Well in that case, I'll play messenger...
- I don't have time for this.
Great, I have added a marker for Trip's location on
your map. You will need to use the teleporter to
travel between the craters as the barriers
currently prevent us from using vehicles.
Trip has Engineering working on a design
modification which may allow for venting those
emissions someday but he's got those guys
spread so thin, I doubt it's a high priority.
- Ok, I'll leave immediately.

you as the vessel to bear such untidy news.
I hope this doesn't create a bad impresion of
DSEC for you. DSEC is a very prosperous patron
yet one with many interests.
Do not let such administrative defects deter you.
We have a unique opportunity to gain knowledge
previously outside of humanity's comprehension.
- I'll keep that in consideration.
Thank you. We've had one hell of a time with our
asessment of the craters. We've deployed Sec
Corps units to assist where they can but their
efforts are mostly wasted on fighting the Cultists.
Chuck Iverson is working with Angela Grayson to
coordinate alternative efforts in support of her
geologists. i understand he's looking for any free
hands available. Please go and look into what
assistance he may need.
- I'm sorry, did you say Cultists?
- I'll go see Chuck.
Well we've been encountering some vaguely
humanoid beings. They share our overall structure
and genetic evidence points to a very high
likelihood of a shared evolutionary origin.
I believe these degenerate creatures are the
descendants of the Church of Cthulhu. Don't worry
too much about that though, gabriel has assured
me that reinforcements will arrive and I'm sure
they will be deployed shortly.
Our Ceo feels I'm being an alarmist and dismisses
the legends of this apocalyptic sect, but he knows
better than to risk this cache in pursuit of other
investments.
