Dialog

Mr Lyndon, Osere

The mission I have in mind fits your profile perfectly.  A crate has been discovered deep in the jungle, and I have a feeling that it contains equipment meant for Genesis Star.  I want you to find the crate and bring back its contents.

Dont worry, you'll get the reward for this and the previous assignment

Choices:

  • Okay, I'll do it.
  • Thanks but no.

On finding the crate:

The key card fits perfectly and the lock unlocks with a click.

  • Open crate

You open the crate and stare at a stack of explosives neatly piled.  A speaker crackles and you hear the familiar voice of Mr Lyndon.

"Hello, Colonist.  It is a case of explosives you're looking at, and you're still alive only because I wish you to live the remainder of your numbered and very few days in fear.  One day there will be an explosive charge close to you, and it will explode, and we will intercept your genetic revival stream and delete it.  In my opinion, that's still too nice to traitors, but it will have to do.  See you next time."

On talking to Officer Book at East Scylla:

What happened

  • My cover was blown. Somehow, Mr Lyndon knew.  He set a trap for me.

How did he know?

  • I don't know. He just knew.

Then I guess we have a leak in Genesis Star.  That's troubling.

Choices:

  • Who do you think he's working for?
  • So what do we do now ?

If you choose 'Who do you think he's working for?'

I have some ideas.  But the less you know, the better.

Choices:

  • Come on.  He wants to blow me up!
  • Perhaps you're right.

If you choose 'Come on.  He wants to blow me up!'

It's obvious that he's working for a competitor, and from all the data collected from the scanners, I would say that Mr Lyndon works for Omegaton.

Choices:

  • What are we going to do about him?
  • Omegaton.  That's big.  I think I better stay out of this.

If you choose 'What are we going to do about him?'

Nothing.  I will inform the board and they will decide.  I work for the science department.  The security department will handle Mr Lyndon.

  • And what about me?

You have done your part and almost been blown to smithereens in the process.  I say we're quits.  I'll erase the records of you tampering with our equipment.  Now, stay out of trouble.

  • Ok

Reward = 500 Blazar Fragments & 1ped TT of Explosive Weaponry Technology skills.
