These light submachine guns from Isis were found in the burning remains of a crashed freighter on Claypso. Most of the boxes had been smashed in the impact and a lot of weapons had been looted by the time Imperial Scout/Recon teams arrived at the site.
It appears that the faulty and cheap components used in the original design has been replaced with higher quality parts in these enhanced versions. As a result, each shot deals higher damage and the gun lasts longer before breaking.
